For the safety of the vulnerable members of the community, it is highly recommended to assume that you are already carrying the virus if you live in an area with confirmed cases. Take appropriate measures to clean and disinfect.
As it normally takes two weeks for the symptoms to appear, it is best to maintain two (2) weeks’ worth of food and hygiene products in storage. The two-week storage limit is to help avoid food shortages for other vulnerable members of the community, such as daily wage earners. You can gradually stock up by using food and grocery delivery services to reduce exposure (please refer to the goods section to find shopping options).
If you start feeling even just slightly unwell, wear a mask to avoid infecting other people. The mild symptoms often start after two weeks and may come like a simple cold or a low grade fever (37.3 C or above).
The FDA has allowed Pharmacy and drugstores to honor electronic drug prescriptions or e-prescriptions for vulnerable persons, Senior Citizens, Persons with Disability, patients with chronic illness, and immuno-compromised patients to avoid risking exposure due to doctor’s appointment.
Avoid exposing the more vulnerable patients in the hospital by consulting doctors from home through the following resources:
